You might try trolling on craigslist for giveaway cars or dirt cheap ones (like a few hundred dollars). There are no direct programs (yet) that I know about that offer car grants. There have been such in the past, however.

Hi my name is Amber, Im 23 years old. I have a 6 year old daughter, im in desperate need of getting help to get back on my feet. i cant afford a car right now and i dont even have a place of my own, im having to stay with family and friends and its really just hard and i have hit rock bottom. Im just trying to make a better life for me and my daughter and im running out of options.. please HELP. I dont know how much longer i can handle living like this.

i am 20 years old and have two young kids my husband just walked out on us a month ago i am currently living with my mom i am trying to find a job so i can get my ged and go back to school but i have no car. are there any websites that will help me with either my ged or buying a car it doesnt have to be new or look good. i just dont know what to do i am desperate i cant even make payments because i have no job. if you know what i can do please email me at rebelgirl69er@yahoo.com thank you very much

hi my name is regina and i am trying to find an apartment for me and my daughter and cant afford a normal place on my welfare. we are curently staying with me brother and his wife and there two kids in a two bedroom apartment for now but only have till the end of the year. i am worried about me and my daughter being on the street and worse me losing my child which i do not wish to happen. if there is someone who can help me find a budget apartment i greatly thank you. thank you for the time you took to read this

don’t pay for any grants! If you pay, it’s a scam. You can get federal grants for school which come as part of the Federal Student Aid package, but you apply with the FAFSA and that’s free. There are some private grant giveaways like the scholarship4workingadults, but this is free to sign up. One of the biggest scams is to charge people 20 bucks or so for a “grant processing fee” or “grant application”. Say goodbye to your money if you pay someone this!

If I have to pay for every grant I sign up for and I don’t get it then that’s more money I need towards my sons schooling.
